Patience should not be read as cue of weakness, it’s a cue of strength.

Trees that are slow to arise, receive the best fruit. From trees, I understand the meaning of patience.

Patience is an exercise in self-control. It means the capacity to receive or undergo problems, deferment or suffering without becoming anxious. It’s the ability to endure difficult circumstances. It may involve perseverance in the face of deferment; tolerance of provocation without responding in anger/ disrespect; or forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer term difficulties.

Patience isn’t merely the ability to wait — it’s how we act while we’re waiting.

It’s the art of concealing our impatience and the art of hoping. It’s needed to develop good character.

What is Patience
